Still waiting for summer to start since it's now July and it's been pouring for 24 hours. Luckily we've been able to visit some warmer cities to make up for this. Well, Boise anyway.

Kelsey Chance did a fun photo shoot with us and now we have new band photos! Go to the 'photos' page to see some of these. Here are a couple of ones that we didn't quite pull off.

We've been busking at the Bellingham Farmer's Market some Saturdays when we're in town (maybe three times this summer), and Kelsey took some cool photos there, too (before we got kicked out for drawing too big of a crowd!).



Some highlights since the last entry:

• Playing with the Polyrhythmics again at the Wild Buffalo in April
• Our first audience of under 8 years old at the May Day Celebration at McMenamins in Portland
  
• WWU show 'End Fair' outside with no rain and an awesome group of people
  
• Folk Life festival in Seattle for the 2nd year in a row
  
• Playing three gigs in one day starting at 6am on Mt. Baker for the Ski to Sea Race
  
• Our first show in Port Angeles with a super rowdy crowd at Bar N9NE
  
• Alive After Five in Boise, ID! Boise rocks! Not only was that one of my favorite shows, but I bought three hot dogs all from unique street vendors within two blocks and got to drink Long Island Iced Teas out of pails at our very own pool party.

By the way, did you know we are playing Bumbershoot this year? We'll be on the Promenade stage on Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend! In August we're also hitting String Cheese's festival at Horning's Hideout, the Summer Meltdown Festival, and Subdued Stringband Jamboree.
